Located inside the beltline, just north of downtown Raleigh, our studio is petite but mighty. We offer professional etching presses and tools, robust work surfaces, inking slabs, as well as flat file and locker storage for keyholders (coming soon!)

During open studios and for member use we offer basic tools and materials such as black ink, wiping fabrics, newsprint, and clean up supplies.

A limited number of supplies (such as printmaking papers, copper plates and tarlatan by the yard) are available for purchase.

Coming Soon!

We look forward to offering a regular schedule of "etching days.” Coat and etch plates with an experienced printmaker on site to assist. (Plates can be taken home and worked on between etching sessions.)

For use with copper plates, we have an upright Z*Acryl tank with ferric chloride, a hotplate for ground application, and all the tools needed for successful etching. Not sure what any of this means? Come take a workshop to gain experience and confidence.
